Our lawyers practice exclusively as plaintiff's attorneys on behalf of the injured people who have personal injury, medical negligence, and workers' compensation claims. Our goal is to provide each client with the highest level of legal expertise and to develop and maintain a strong personal relationship with our clients throughout the representation. Our clients are able to contact their attorney directly, and we believe that individual representation and personal contact are the cornerstones of each successful attorney and client relationship.

Since leaving the Lake County State’s Attorney Prosecutors’ Office in 1987, Scott Gibson has and continues to exclusively represent individuals and families who have been injured by an individual, company, corporation, and public or government organizations.  In 1992, Mr. Gibson started his own plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm which exclusively practices on behalf of injured people and their families, and has never represented or worked on behalf of an insurance company, hospital, doctor, or corporation. 

Gibson & Associates, Ltd. is selective in representing our clients so as to ensure that the necessary time and financial resources are invested and dedicated to each client and his or her individual case.  The firm philosophy has never waivered in vigorously preparing each case as if it is going to be tried by a Judge or jury, so as to ensure the strongest position for settlement on behalf of our clients and also to be in the strongest position to zealously and effectively try the cases that cannot be settled.

Since 1993, Attorney Scott Gibson and his firm have achieved trial verdicts and settlements totaling tens of millions of dollars.  The firm has a strong relationship with special investigators who are local, national, and international experts in may different fields of expertise who are utilized on behalf of each individual client as needed to collect evidence, interview witnesses, find information not contained in other records, and to track down any lead that is needed to fully prosecute each case.  Scott B. Gibson and his firm prides itself on investigating and retaining medical, scientific, engineering, economic, and specialty experts who are highly acclaimed in their individual fields to present expert testimony as may be needed in each individual case.  In addition, custom exhibits and trial demonstrative aids are prepared using a nationwide network of experts as diverse as anatomical illustration exhibits, doll makers, model makers, and computer PowerPoint and animation presentations.
